Last week the Housing Policy Partnership (HPP) came together with government representatives from all states and Territories and Commonwealth to discuss the partnerships priorities and build a 12 month work plan. Co-chaired by National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Association (NATSIHA) and the Department of Social Services (DSS), this collaboration marks a significant step forward in reshaping our housing landscape for the better.
The roots of the HPP’s creation can be traced back to the unanimous approval by the Joint Council in December 2022 under Priority Reform One of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap.
The HPP remains dedicated to incorporating vital voices, stories and insights from our community, ensuring our work aligns with genuine needs. We are always testing to make sure we have representation from across Australia, we are now currently looking for representation from the Torres Strait you can find the current expression of interest here: https://lnkd.in/g9MjT_XG
